Huzzah!
I still hate water. But I continue to shed pounds like crazy.
Can you say GRATEFUL?!?!
Mark Joyner's Simpleology 103: The Simple Science of Energy took me for a loop. I wasn't trying to lose weight (well at least not with his program). I was just looking for a way to increase my stamina, energy and focus during the day. I'm not even half way though the program and I've already started feeling the effects of making better choices in my life.
This week, I've seen a decided downward trend: I'm losing about a pound a day - so far.
Let's see how this trend continues.

Fluidity of Movement: Drink More Water
Mark Joyner's Simpleology 103 program addresses the issues of personal energy. This is by far the toughest course I've taken. Not because the content is challenging, but because my mindset has been in a completely different place for so long, that it's proven difficult for me to change.
I have never been a big fan of plain water. But I've been trying not to lose a bet that my 11 year old son made me: lose 50 pounds by Halloween or cough up $20 in cold hard cash.
I hate losing bets even MORE than I hate drinking plain water.
But the verdict is out on the total amount of water a person needs in a day. 8 eight ounce glasses of water is a great start - but it's not necessarily everything you need if you're in a hot climate, or you're heavier, or you're exercising a lot.
One rule of thumb says to drink 1oz for every 2 pounds you weigh. So if you weighed 150 pounds, you'd need 75 ounces of water every day. That's actually MORE than 8 eight ounce glasses of water.
But Mark offers a link to a water calculator - that doesn't appear to work for me. I'm somewhere off the scale! Dangit!
At the very least, he suggests drinking SOME water every hour. There's even a tool built into the free simpleology 101 program to help you do it.
Does a gargle and rinse count?
I really don't like plain water.

Creating The Irresistible Offer
I've started the Simpleology elective on The Irresistible Offer. It's based on Mark Joyner's wildly popular best seller with the same title. Incidentally, you can still get an electronic copy of The Irresistible Offer from Mark for free.
This course is so powerful. The thing I found most powerful (so far) is "the 4 big questions". These are questions that EVERY buyer asks before making a buying decision. I talk a lot about earning an "affirmative buying decision" from your customers, and finding these 4 questions really got my head spinning about ways to improve EVERYTHING I do to get those questions answered.

I am a Money Master!
That's the post I'm supposed to put up on Mark Joyner's Simpleolgy website after completing the Simpleology 102 course on Money.
Wait! Did you say a course on Money?
Yep, sure did. But you can't get this course without registering for Simpleology 101.
The good news is that Simpleology 101 is free. And you can test drive Simpleology 102 for a buck.
Talk about saving money!
For 30 days, you can use the entire course, view the videos, take the quizzes and learn everything that Mark Joyner has to say about increasing your money power.
There are essentially 3 powers, according to Joyner: Time, Energy and Money. You will use each in some combination for everything you do. In order to make more money, ultimately you want to expend as little time energy or money possible.
Simpleology isn't called the science of getting what you want for nothing.
Mark's Grand Law of Wealth is the simplest, yet most profound idea of all. And you'll kick yourself when you read it. I know I did.
But it's certainly changed my approach to the way I handle all things financial. And my world is dramatically improved because of it!

The Irresistible Offer Revisited
I've just begun Mark's Simpleology Course derived from the book, The Irresistible Offer.
Talk about an eye opener.
Mark's book discusses the 4 big questions that every customer asks before making what I call 'an affirmative buying decision'. Answer these 4 questions to the customer's satisfaction, and you've got a sale.
What are The Big 4? If you've got your free copy of The Irresistible Offer, you'd already know!
